Semen Klewer is derived from Javanese, cement means semi which symbolizes the growth of life, and Klewer means hanging. So that the meaning of batik is a plant that hangs like human life that also needs each other with the universe.
This batik is marked by ukel (ornament) which is drawn in free direction and there is also Gurdo (Garuda) which means the source of life.
