Motif Pring Sedapur batik is the original batik of East Java, to be precise in Sidomukti Village, Sidomukti District. Pring Sedapur comes from the word Pring which means bamboo in Javanese, while sedapur is a series or collection of something like an analogy like in a kitchen, which contains all the items or utensils. This motif is loaded with high philosophical values. Bamboo plants usually grow in groups and form a strength, and if gathered can become a strong force and tight rope. This motif is a symbol or icon of the city of Magetan to this day.
