The Singa Barong motif is an original motif from West Java, from Cirebon to be precise. Singa Barong is a mythological animal or magical animal. The lion is an animal known as the king of the jungle, the king of all animals. Meanwhile, barong which is known in Java and Bali is the meaning of miracle. So that in the city of Cirebon, especially in the Cirebon city, the image of the Singa Barong animal has a spiritual value. Keraton Kasepuhan Cirebon believes that the winged garuda like the bauraq is a symbol of Islam. While the elephant is a symbol of Hinduism, and the dragon is a symbol of Buddhism (Chinese culture), and the last is the lion as a symbol of Gladiator, European western culture.
