The Meaning of Kawung Batik Motifs:
This motif was inspired from a palm fruit or the bottom of the palm forming four corners. This motif has several interpretations of meaning. Some say batik with this motif illustrates someone’s humility. There are also those who interpret this motif as emptiness or purify the heart. So that the batik user of this motif will be considered like someone who has a clean heart.
